Midland Police Arrest Man for Fatal Thomason Drive Hit-and-Run
Luis Angel Corrujedo Flores, 34, of Gardendale, was arrested by the Midland Police Department for a second-degree felony charge of collision involving death related to a hit-and-run incident on July 23. The incident involved a gray Ford F-250, which struck 31-year-old Noraima Hernandez while she was jogging on Thomason Drive, ultimately causing her death. Police were able to track down the vehicle and identify Flores as the suspect after gathering evidence, including damage consistent with striking an object and tips from the public. Flores was interviewed by detectives prior to his arrest and remains held on bond at the Midland County Central Detention Center. The Midland Police Department expressed appreciation for the public’s assistance in providing information that helped advance the investigation.
