Hulu Plans August 2025 Removal of Dozen+ Films Including Skinamarink

In August 2025, Hulu will remove just over a dozen films, including the notable horror hit Skinamarink, which leaves early in the month. Despite these removals, Hulu is bolstering its summer lineup with a variety of new and returning content, such as the revival of King of the Hill's 14th season, the true crime limited series The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, and a sci-fi prequel set in the Aliens universe. The streaming platform is also premiering the dark thriller Eenie Meanie and adding beloved films like Forrest Gump, Scarface, Pretty Woman, and the John Wick series to its catalog. Additionally, Hulu and Disney+ will debut new series including Necaxa, a soccer-focused docuseries produced by Eva Longoria, with a Latin American twist following the success of Welcome to Wrexham. Meanwhile, Peacock offers a strong horror and dark-thriller slate, including the return of Twisted Metal season 2 focusing on the tournament with new cast members, and the dark thriller Borderline starring Samara Weaving. Fans of horror can also revisit M3GAN in both its PG-13 and unrated versions on Peacock.
