Brandon Ingram Ruled Out for Raptors' Season After Ankle Injection

Brandon Ingram of the Toronto Raptors will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season due to a low left ankle sprain, having not played since December 2024. After consultation with a foot specialist, he received a platelet-rich plasma injection to aid his recovery, a decision that Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic believes will accelerate his rehabilitation. Ingram, who was acquired from the New Orleans Pelicans at the trade deadline, averaged 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in 18 games before his injury. He is expected to be fully recovered in time for the Raptors' summer training program. The Raptors, currently struggling with a 30-50 record, had hoped Ingram might return for the final games of the season, but this treatment sidesteps that possibility. His absence means he will not debut for Toronto this season after the trade.
