Sydney Sweeney underwent an intense physical transformation, gaining about 35 pounds in roughly two and a half months to portray boxer Christy Martin in the biopic Christy. She said the process involved heavy training — including boxing and jiu-jitsu — and a very high-calorie regimen of protein shakes, Uncrustables, egg whites and chicken, which earned her the nickname “Smuckers” on set.
