Amanda Shires Announces New Album Nobody’s Girl, Releases Single

Amanda Shires will release her new album "Nobody's Girl" on September 26, 2025, through ATO Records. This 12-track album, produced by Lawrence Rothman, marks her first release since her 2022 album "Take It Like A Man" and follows her divorce from singer-songwriter Jason Isbell, exploring themes of healing, rebuilding, and personal growth. The lead single "A Way It Goes" offers a confessional and cinematic glimpse into her journey of recovery, emphasizing thriving after hardship rather than dwelling on pain. Recorded in both Nashville and Los Angeles, the album features a rich ensemble of musicians and showcases Shires' vocals along with her fiddle, tenor guitar, and ukulele playing. Shires will support Aly & AJ on a North American tour starting September 19 and will also appear at AmericanaFest in Nashville. The album and tour reflect a period of introspection and resilience, as Shires stands in the aftermath of a life transformed, asserting her independence and strength.
