Radha Yadav Replaces Injured Shuchi Upadhyay in India Women’s England Tour Squad

Radha Yadav has been named as the replacement for the injured Shuchi Upadhyay in the India women's cricket squad for their upcoming tour of England, which features five T20Is and three ODIs starting June 28. Shuchi Upadhyay, a 20-year-old left-arm spinner who made her ODI debut last month during the tri-series in Sri Lanka, sustained a left shin injury diagnosed during the pre-tour camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. The India women's team will begin the tour with T20 matches in Nottingham, Bristol, the Oval, Manchester, and Birmingham, followed by ODIs in Southampton, Lord’s, and Chester-le-Street. The squad announcement also highlighted the return of Shafali Verma to the T20I side due to her strong performances in the domestic WPL 2025, while pacer Sayali Satghare was named in both formats, replacing injured fast bowlers Renuka Singh Thakur and Titas Sadhu.
