As a result, he will miss critical upcoming matches against the Brumbies, Chiefs, and potentially the Crusaders, unless he participates in a coaching intervention program. The incident occurred in the 75th minute of the match, which the Blues won 33-29. Sotutu's tackle was deemed to contravene Law 9.13, which addresses dangerous play. The committee noted that mitigating circumstances included the opposing player's change in running line at the moment of contact.
