Madonna Releases 40th Anniversary Remix of ‘Dress You Up’

Madonna has commemorated the 40th anniversary of her iconic 1985 single "Dress You Up" with a three-track digital release featuring a remix/edit, a 12-inch Formal Mix produced by Nile Rodgers, and a Casual Instrumental Mix. This release is dedicated to Mario Paglino and Gianni Grossi, the late doll designers known for creating Madonna-inspired Barbie dolls, who tragically died in a car accident earlier this week. The anniversary package celebrates the song's enduring popularity as the final single from the Diamond-certified album Like a Virgin. Alongside this release, Madonna recently unveiled the long-rumored Ray of Light remix album Veronica Electronica and is reportedly collaborating with producer Shawn Levy on a Netflix limited series based on her life and career. Actress Julia Garner remains attached to star in a biopic about Madonna, a project that has been delayed but is said to still be in development. Madonna is also hinting at working on a sequel to her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, marking a continued active presence in music and entertainment.
