Bigelow's A House of Dynamite Premieres on Netflix

Kathryn Bigelow’s A House of Dynamite, her first film in nearly a decade, premiered on Netflix on October 24; written by Noah Oppenheim, it dramatizes the 18 frantic minutes after an anonymous missile is launched toward Chicago. The ensemble cast includes Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee, and Bigelow’s tense, nonlinear direction has earned solid critical marks (around 81% on Rotten Tomatoes). The film’s abrupt, divisive ending has left many viewers frustrated.
