Hertz Car Sales has partnered with Amazon Autos to offer thousands of pre-owned vehicles for online purchase, initially launching in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and Seattle, with plans to expand nationwide. Customers can browse, finance, and complete purchases online, then pick up vehicles at Hertz locations. All vehicles undergo a 115-point inspection and come with a limited powertrain warranty, roadside assistance, and a buy-back guarantee. The collaboration aims to reimagine the car-buying experience by merging convenience and scale through digital retail expansion. Following the announcement, Hertz's stock surged by as much as 18% in premarket trading. This move is part of Hertz's broader strategy to enhance customer experience through technology partnerships and expand its digital retail presence.
