Fantastic Four MCU Reveals Classic Villain Giganto for First Time

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first look at Giganto, the monstrous villain from the original 1961 Fantastic Four comic, in a new promotional campaign for 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps.' The teaser, produced in collaboration with Little Caesars, faithfully recreates the iconic comic book cover, with Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm facing off against the giant creature. Giganto, typically controlled by Mole Man, features a comic-accurate design, fueling speculation that Paul Walter Hauser may play the underground villain. The film, set in a retro-futuristic 1960s-inspired world, stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Marvel’s First Family and is directed by Matt Shakman. The Little Caesars partnership includes themed pizzas, collectible boxes, and movie ticket promotions, further immersing fans in the film's vintage aesthetic. 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' will premiere in theaters and IMAX on July 25, 2025, introducing classic comic energy and setting the stage for future MCU appearances.
