Purchased in 1998 for just under $3 million, the sale represents a significant profit after more than two decades of ownership. The couple, who have hosted notable figures such as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and celebrities at the estate, are believed to be downsizing to a flat in nearby Mosman following their children moving out. The property had attracted substantial online interest but struggled to generate genuine buyer offers until the private treaty sale.
