Nationwide Road Construction Projects Begin May 5

Road construction and maintenance projects are causing lane and ramp closures in several regions across the U.S. In Ohio, multiple restrictions and closures affect U.S. 30, State Routes 66, 65, and 117, as well as Dixie Highway and other local roads for bridge maintenance, pavement repair, and streetscape improvements. In Delaware, Kenton Road in Dover will have weekday lane closures through September for widening and the addition of a new turn lane. Washington's Snoqualmie Valley will see daytime single-lane closures on State Route 202 and NE Cherry Valley Road for bridge sealing and paving, with flaggers directing traffic. In Michigan, Jolly Road at U.S. 127 will close during evening hours for bridge deck work, and the I-96/Lansing Road interchange will experience extended ramp and lane closures as part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades. Drivers in all affected areas are advised to expect delays, follow posted detours, and use caution around work zones.
