New York Police Activate AMBER Alert for Lake George Child Abduction

An AMBER Alert has been issued for 9-year-old Melina Frattolin, who was abducted Saturday night in Lake George, New York. Melina, described as an Indian female approximately 5 feet tall and weighing 100 pounds with brown hair and eyes, was last seen wearing a blue and white striped shirt, shorts, and white Adidas sneakers, traveling southbound in a white van on Interstate 87 near exit 22. Authorities believe she is in imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death, and the suspect remains unknown. The alert was activated by New York State Police and the Warren County Sheriff's Office to rapidly disseminate information to the public in hopes of securing her safe recovery. The AMBER Alert system, named after Amber Rene Hagerman, aims to engage the community quickly to assist in locating abducted children, especially when vehicle details are available.
