BJP Demands Resignation of Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah

BJP leaders are intensifying calls for Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's resignation amid allegations of involvement in two significant scams: the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land scandal and the embezzlement at the Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation. Following the resignation of MUDA Chairman K. Marigowda, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra and former Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda have stated that Siddaramaiah's wife's return of disputed plots further implicates him. The BJP accuses the Congress party of being anti-reservation and misappropriating funds, citing historical opposition to reservations by Congress leaders. Allegations of Siddaramaiah's guilt have been reinforced by claims of misappropriation exceeding Rs 89 crore, as well as statements from other party members questioning his integrity. Siddaramaiah, however, remains defiant, calling for impartial investigations and rejecting the BJP's assertions of his wrongdoing.
