Tennessee Quadruple Homicide Suspect Austin Drummond Captured After Weeklong Manhunt
Austin Robert Drummond, 28, was captured in Jackson, Tennessee, after a week-long manhunt following the murder of four family members and abandonment of their infant daughter. The victims, identified as Matthew Wilson, Adrianna Williams, Braydon Williams, and Cortney Rose, were reportedly targeted in a planned attack, with Drummond having a prior relationship with them. Authorities charged Drummond with four counts of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, and weapons offenses, noting his criminal history including robbery and attempted murder. The infant, found about 40 miles from the crime scene, is safe and being cared for. Prior to his arrest, residents in Jackson were advised to shelter in place due to a sighting of Drummond, who was seen armed and wearing camouflage. Two other individuals, Tanaka Brown and Giovonte Thomas, have been charged with accessory after the fact for allegedly assisting Drummond in the killings.
