Eagles Acquire CB Jaire Alexander From Ravens

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired two-time Pro Bowler and Second-Team All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander and a 2027 seventh-round pick from the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick. Alexander appeared in just two games (61 defensive snaps) for Baltimore this season and was a healthy scratch multiple times amid injuries and poor play, prompting the Ravens to flip him to recoup late-round capital. Philadelphia views him as a low-risk outside depth/rotation piece opposite Quinyon Mitchell, insurance while considering moving Cooper DeJean outside, and veteran competition for snaps with Adoree’ Jackson and Kelee Ringo after adding slot help Michael Carter II. Alexander reunites with defensive backs coach Christian Parker, who coached him in Green Bay, and is expected to debut after the Eagles’ bye, likely on Nov. 10 in Green Bay. Baltimore continues retooling its secondary after adding Alohi Gilman and is redeploying safety Kyle Hamilton as part of the reshuffle.
