40 Firefighters Investigate Suspected Gas Explosion Stoke Newington London
A suspected gas explosion occurred early Tuesday morning at a house on Dumont Road in Stoke Newington, north-east London, prompting the deployment of six fire engines and 40 firefighters from multiple nearby stations. The incident was reported just before 5am and was brought under control by 5:42am. A cordon remains in place, with road closures affecting Stoke Newington Church Street from the A10 junction to Defoe Road, as well as a complete shutdown of Kersley Road.
