Topshop plans high street return with May pop-up in London

Topshop is marking its return to physical retail with a one-day pop-up event in Shoreditch, London, on May 10, in partnership with house music label Defected Records. This event, called 'Topshop & Topman In The House,' offers early access to the new Talamanca collection, exclusive merchandise, live DJ sets, and beauty experiences, reminiscent of the brand's Oxford Street heyday. The pop-up serves as a preview for a wider high street relaunch anticipated this August and reflects Topshop’s renewed focus on blending in-person shopping with digital innovation. The move follows Topshop's acquisition by ASOS in 2021 after Arcadia Group's collapse, with recent ownership changes involving Bestseller and Heartland to strengthen its wholesale and physical retail presence. Tickets for the pop-up sold out quickly, though walk-ins will be permitted, and shoppers can order out-of-stock items online via QR codes.
