South Columbus Shooting Leaves One Dead, Another Critically Injured

Multiple shootings have occurred recently in Ohio, including a fatal incident on the south side of Columbus where a person was shot at the intersection of South Ohio Avenue and Frebis Avenue and later pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center. Police responded around 8:13 p.m. but no suspects were immediately apprehended, and the intersection remains closed. Additionally, a man was injured in a shooting in Cincinnati's Mount Auburn neighborhood, where one adult male suspect was arrested and the victim's injuries were non-life-threatening. In another Columbus shooting on 7th Avenue North, a 41-year-old victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and a 35-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and firearm possession. Authorities are continuing investigations in these cases and urge anyone with information to come forward.
