$2M Powerball Ticket Sold Tacoma Awaits Claim

A $2 million Powerball ticket was sold at the 76 Rocket gas station located at 15119 Pacific Ave. S. in Tacoma during the September 10 drawing. The ticket matched all five white balls but missed the red Powerball, winning the second-tier prize of $1 million, which was doubled to $2 million due to the Power Play option. The gas station will receive a $10,000 bonus from Washington’s Lottery for selling the winning ticket. As of now, Washington’s Lottery has not announced whether the prize has been claimed, with tickets needing to be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. Meanwhile, two tickets sold in Missouri and Texas won a record $1.787 billion jackpot in a separate drawing on September 6. The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for September 13, with an estimated jackpot of $50 million.
