The Institute Sets Two-Episode Premiere on MGM+

MGM+'s 'The Institute,' based on Stephen King's 2019 novel, will premiere with a two-episode debut on July 13 and features eight episodes in total. The series follows 12-year-old genius Luke Ellis, played by Joe Freeman, who is abducted and taken to a secretive facility where children with supernatural abilities endure disturbing experiments overseen by Ms. Sigsby (Mary-Louise Parker). Ben Barnes stars as former police officer Tim Jamieson, with the story intertwining his fate with the children as they plan a rebellion against their captors.
