Ed Sheeran Releases New Album Play, Camera Video Featuring Phoebe Dynevor

Ed Sheeran has released his eighth album, Play, which marks a stylistic shift inspired by Indian, Persian, and Irish folk music, featuring the single "Camera." The music video for "Camera," directed by Emil Nava and shot entirely on an iPhone, stars Sheeran alongside Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor, portraying early stages of a romantic relationship and filmed in picturesque locations across Croatia's Dalmatian coast. Originally intending to use private home footage with his wife Cherry Seaborn, Sheeran chose to recreate intimate moments with Dynevor to maintain their privacy. The album reflects a joyful, colorful response to a difficult period in Sheeran's life, exploring themes of escape, love, and devotion across 13 tracks. To promote the album, Sheeran will perform a livestreamed Tiny Desk concert and embark on a tour covering the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand through early 2026.
