Netflix partners with Yash Raj Films to globally stream iconic Bollywood films

Netflix has partnered with Yash Raj Films to stream a curated selection of Bollywood classics globally, rolling out films in phases aligned with special occasions and festivals. The collaboration begins November 1 with nine iconic Shah Rukh Khan films, including 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' and 'Chak De! India,' celebrating his 60th birthday. From November 14, classic Yash Raj Films like 'Chandni' and 'Kabhi Kabhie' will be available, while Ranveer Singh's popular titles will debut on December 5, followed by a holiday season release of 34 family-friendly films streaming two per day from December 12 to 28. Salman Khan's hits, including 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Sultan,' will launch on December 27 for his birthday, with additional content such as the 'Dhoom' trilogy and 'Mardaani' series scheduled for late 2025 and early 2026. Netflix and YRF executives highlighted the partnership as a milestone celebrating Indian cinema's rich heritage and its global reach, allowing worldwide audiences to experience the depth, diversity, and magic of Bollywood.
