Rapper GloRilla Arrested on Felony Drug Charges After Home Burglary in Georgia

Rapper GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Woods, was arrested on felony drug charges after police investigating a burglary at her Atlanta home discovered a significant amount of marijuana. The burglary occurred while she was performing at the WNBA All-Star Game halftime show, with three suspects entering her residence and fleeing after an occupant fired a weapon at them. Despite an extensive search, the suspects have not been located, and the investigation remains ongoing. GloRilla voluntarily turned herself in and was released on a $22,260 bond. Her attorneys emphasize that she is a victim of the home invasion and criticize law enforcement for focusing on drug charges rather than the burglary and theft of high-value jewelry. Sheriff Ron Freeman stated that while the suspects are being pursued, the law must be enforced in all aspects of the case.
