Marcus Scribner, Lawson Join 'Boston Blue' Cast

Marcus Scribner has been cast as rookie cop Jonah Silver in CBS's upcoming 'Blue Bloods' spinoff, 'Boston Blue,' premiering this fall in the traditional Friday night slot. The show stars Donnie Wahlberg reprising his role as Detective Danny Reagan, now working with Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green) at the Boston Police Department. Gloria Reuben plays district attorney Mae Silver, the matriarch of a blended law enforcement family, which includes superintendent Sarah Silver (Maggie Lawson), Lena, and Jonah. Mae Silver struggles to balance family and career following the tragic murder of her husband, a judge. Ernie Hudson appears as Reverend Peters, Mae's father. Producers include CBS Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television, with Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis as showrunners.
