Young Child Found Wandering Santa Clarita Streets Alone with Dog, Mother Arrested

A young girl, approximately 3 to 5 years old, was found wandering alone late at night on a busy street in Valencia, Santa Clarita, wearing only a diaper and shirt and accompanied by her dog and an iPad. Julius Rivera, a passerby who was walking his dog, noticed the child and attempted to stop her, but she ran away, prompting him to call the police. Deputies located the girl and returned her to her nearby home, where they found her mother, Michelle Negrellos, asleep and intoxicated. Negrellos was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and is scheduled to appear in court. The incident highlights concerns about child safety and parental supervision in the Santa Clarita area. Authorities continue to investigate and have not released further details about the case.
