Silksong Demo Dates and Release Plans Updated

Hollow Knight: Silksong will have its first public playable demo since E3 2019 at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, from August 20-24, 2025, at the Xbox booth. The demo will be available on PC and the new ROG Xbox Ally X handheld. Developer Team Cherry has reiterated plans to release Silksong before the end of 2025, most likely during the holiday season, though no exact date has been announced. Other major games and new hardware, including Ninja Gaiden 4 and Borderlands 4, will also be featured at the Xbox booth. Additionally, a Silksong demo will be available at the Melbourne Museum’s Game Worlds exhibit in September. These developments mark significant progress for the long-awaited indie sequel after years of limited updates.
