Soundgarden, Bad Company Among 2025 Rock Hall Inductees

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 inductees, highlighting a diverse group of influential artists. This year's Performer inductees include Soundgarden, The White Stripes, Bad Company, Cyndi Lauper, OutKast, Chubby Checker, and Joe Cocker, all recognized for their lasting impact on music. Soundgarden’s induction marks them as the third of Seattle’s 'Big Four' grunge bands to be honored, following Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon will receive the Musical Influence Award for their transformative contributions, while Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye will be honored with the Musical Excellence Award. The induction ceremony will take place on November 8 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, streaming live on Disney+ and airing later on ABC. Hall chairman John Sykes emphasized that these inductees changed the course of rock and roll and gave a voice to generations.
