Kraken Robotics Appoints Defense Veteran Kristin Robertson to Board

Kraken Robotics has appointed Kristin Robertson, a seasoned defense industry executive with over 30 years of experience at Boeing, RTX Corporation, and the U.S. Navy, to its Board of Directors. Robertson currently leads KBR Insights, a strategic consulting firm specializing in aerospace and defense, and previously headed RTX's space business and managed autonomous systems projects at Boeing, including the U.S. Navy's Orca extra-large unmanned undersea vehicle. Her expertise in disruptive technology and defense sector operations is expected to support Kraken's growth in subsea imaging, robotics, and battery technologies. Alongside her appointment, Kraken issued over 3.4 million stock options to employees and directors, aiming to incentivize talent aligned with its strategic objectives. Robertson expressed enthusiasm for contributing to Kraken's mission to transform ocean exploration and subsea technology.
