Two Schoolgirls Seriously Injured in Separate Car Crashes in Coventry, Glasgow
A 13-year-old girl was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Radford Road near Barrs Hill School in Coventry. The incident occurred around 8:10 a.m., and the girl was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. West Midlands Police spoke to the driver at the scene, who is cooperating with the investigation. Radford Road was closed in both directions from Light Lane to Fynford Road following the crash, and police are urging anyone with information or footage to come forward. This crash happened on the same road where a 12-year-old boy, Keaton Slater, was killed in a hit-and-run incident a year ago. Police remain in close contact with the girl's family and the nearby school as the investigation continues.
