Merced, Chattanooga Swear In New Fire Chiefs

Casey Wilson has been officially sworn in as Merced's new fire chief, having served as interim chief previously. Knowles, a 20-year veteran of the Chattanooga Fire Department and former assistant chief of special operations, brings extensive experience including service in the U.S. Navy and roles in urban search and rescue. His appointment coincides with city efforts to enhance firefighter pay and resources, following significant emergency responses to recent flash floods.
