Starz Casts Young Ghost, Tommy for Power: Origins Prequel
Starz has cast Spence Moore and Charlie Mann as the younger versions of fan-favorite characters Ghost and Tommy, respectively, in the prequel series Power: Origins. The show will explore the origin stories of these ambitious young entrepreneurs determined to make their mark on New York City's streets, providing a fresh and dynamic addition to the Power universe. Power: Origins is the fourth spinoff of the original Power series, following Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force, with MeKai Curtis reprising his role as Kanan Stark. The series will be showrun by Sascha Penn, with Courtney A. Kemp executive producing. The new series has been greenlit for an 18-episode first season, although a release date and production timeline have yet to be announced. Fans of the franchise are eager for this rambunctious exploration of the characters' youths, further expanding the popular crime drama's storyline.
