Mutant and Arrow Video have partnered to launch an exclusive line of ultra high-definition Blu-ray releases called Mutant Mediabook, starting with a 4K UHD edition of the cult classic Donnie Darko. This release features both the theatrical and director's cuts restored in 4K from original camera negatives, supervised by director Richard Kelly and cinematographer Steven Poster, with Dolby Vision HDR and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. The package includes premium packaging with brand-new artwork by Greg Ruth, a 32-page mediabook, a limited edition slipcase, and numerous bonus features such as audio commentaries, documentaries, deleted scenes, and interviews with cast and crew.
