Nokia Signs Global Deals With Supermicro, Kyndryl for AI Data Center Networks

Nokia has formed strategic partnerships with Supermicro and Kyndryl to deliver AI-optimized, automated data center networking solutions aimed at cloud providers, communications providers, and enterprises. The collaboration with Supermicro integrates its 800G Ethernet switches with Nokia's Service Router Linux network operating system and Event-Driven Automation platform to provide a turnkey solution that reduces deployment time, operational costs, and improves network efficiency. Similarly, Nokia's partnership with Kyndryl has resulted in the deployment of Nokia's Data Center Fabric and automation software for Swiss ISP iWay, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and AI readiness. These deals focus on simplifying data center operations by automating network design, deployment, and management, which is critical to support the high demands of AI workloads, including increased network speed and energy consumption. Both partnerships aim to position Nokia’s software and automation tools as foundational elements in modern AI-capable data centers, while also expanding Nokia’s reach into the enterprise market through Supermicro and Kyndryl’s sales channels.
