England goalkeeper Mary Earps has revealed she is in a same-sex relationship, naming her girlfriend Kitty in an extract from her forthcoming autobiography All In, which is due on 6 November. She said she disclosed her sexuality ahead of the book’s publication so it would not distract from other themes, including her struggles with mental health, and because omitting it would feel inauthentic.
