Brothel Owners Jailed for Exploiting Women Across UK

Three brothel owners, Yuan Hang, Lina Wang, and Chung Fu Wang, were sentenced to over 15 years in prison for their roles in the sexual exploitation of trafficked women across more than 50 locations in the UK. The victims, some brought into the country illegally, were coerced into sex work and unsafe practices. The criminal enterprise, first uncovered in 2019, led to significant disturbances in local communities, including noise and property damage. The investigation utilized mobile phone data to connect the offenders to their illegal activities, revealing extensive financial gains, including £430,000 found in Wang's possession. During their sentencing at Maidstone Crown Court, the judge criticized the trio for their lack of remorse and empathy towards their victims.
