29-Year-Old Tiverton Woman Dies in Little Compton Motorcycle Crash

Tammy Boutilier, a 29-year-old woman from Tiverton, Rhode Island, died after her motorcycle collided head-on with a car on Simmons Road in Little Compton. The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. when Boutilier lost control of her motorcycle while traveling westbound, causing her to cross into the eastbound lane and strike the oncoming vehicle. Boutilier was transported to St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River, where she was pronounced dead. The car's driver sustained minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene. The accident caused Simmons Road to be closed for approximately three hours while police and the Rhode Island State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit conducted an investigation. Authorities have not filed any charges, and the investigation remains ongoing.
