Philadelphia Police Identify Suspects, Officers in Multiple Shootings, Fatal Incident

Philadelphia police have released images of suspects in two recent shootings: one at a South Philadelphia restaurant that injured eight people, and another in North Philadelphia that left one man dead, with one accomplice already in custody and the gunman still sought. In the South Philadelphia incident at the 7 Elements restaurant, police identified a second suspect and previously arrested a security guard, while the establishment's bar license has been revoked due to violations. Separately, authorities have identified the officers and the 25-year-old man, Bruce Harry Garcia, involved in a fatal police shooting in Fairhill on May 21. Officers Edward Lane and Matthew Galdo, both now on administrative duty, shot Garcia after a struggle during which Garcia allegedly fired a ghost gun from inside a bag. Portions of the altercation were recorded on body cameras, though some footage was lost when cameras were knocked off during the struggle. Investigations into both the restaurant shooting and the officer-involved shooting remain ongoing.
