Multiple Train-Car Collisions Across U.S. Reported

Several train-vehicle collisions took place recently across the United States. In Baton Rouge, two people avoided injury when a stalled car was struck by a train, and the driver was cited by police. In Pompano Beach, Florida, a Brightline train collided with a car on the tracks, seriously injuring the driver and sending debris into a nearby City Commission building. The circumstances surrounding the Florida crash remain under investigation. In northeast Oklahoma City, a driver who reportedly fell asleep at a crossing had their car damaged by a passing train but was not hurt. No fatalities were reported in any of these incidents, though there was significant property damage and at least one serious injury.
