Ithaca Man Faces Hammer Assault Charges After July Attack

Jordan M. Berrios, 24, was arrested in Ithaca, New York, following an assault at the Green Street Parking Garage where he allegedly struck a victim with a hammer. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Berrios faces multiple charges including criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, assault in the second degree, and menacing in the second degree. He was apprehended several hours after the incident at the Asteri building, arraigned in Ithaca City Court, and remanded to Tompkins County Jail.
