Guns N' Roses Launch 2025 World Tour in South Korea with New Drummer

Guns N’ Roses launched their 2025 'Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things' world tour in Incheon, South Korea, introducing new drummer Isaac Carpenter, who replaced longtime member Frank Ferrer. The show featured a career-spanning setlist, with the notable change of opening with 'Welcome to the Jungle' for the first time since 2012, departing from their recent tradition of starting with 'It's So Easy.' The band drew heavily from their debut album 'Appetite for Destruction,' alongside classics from 'Use Your Illusion' and selections from the 'Chinese Democracy' era, while keeping covers to a minimum. Carpenter's addition marks the first lineup change since the band's 2016 reunion, and he brings prior experience from working with Duff McKagan's side project Loaded. Despite releasing several singles in recent years, Guns N’ Roses have yet to debut any new material written since Slash and McKagan rejoined, and there is still no confirmed news of a new album. The tour will continue through July, with Public Enemy, Rival Sons, and the Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter joining on select dates.
