PWHL Vancouver reportedly signs top free agent Hannah Miller

Hannah Miller, a 29-year-old forward from North Vancouver, has signed with the expansion PWHL team Vancouver, leaving the Toronto Sceptres. Miller had a strong 2024-25 season with Toronto, scoring 10 goals and 14 assists in 29 games, ranking tied for fifth in league scoring. She previously played five seasons with the KRS Vanke Rays in China and represented China at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, scoring the host country's first goal. Despite being named to Canada's roster for the 2025 women's world hockey championship, she was declared ineligible due to IIHF transfer rules. Vancouver's general manager Cara Gardner Morey praised Miller as an elite forward and highlighted the team's growing core, which includes other notable players such as Sarah Nurse, Claire Thompson, and Sophie Jaques. Miller’s signing marks a significant acquisition for Vancouver as they prepare for their inaugural season and upcoming draft.
