Taxi Driver Dies, Six Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash in Hong Kong
A fatal three-vehicle crash occurred on the Kwun Tong Bypass in Hong Kong involving two private cars and a taxi, resulting in the death of the 72-year-old taxi driver. The accident began when a private car driven by a 41-year-old rammed into another private car, causing both vehicles to stop on the bypass. When the two drivers exited their vehicles to inspect the damage, the taxi driver failed to stop in time and crashed into the stationary cars. The taxi driver sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead after being rushed to United Christian Hospital. Six others, including a taxi passenger, both private car drivers, and three additional passengers aged between 4 and 45 years, were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment, while a 3-year-old girl was unharmed. Police and emergency services responded promptly, and investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing amid significant traffic disruptions on the bypass.
