Mariners Promote Top Lefty Prospect Garcia

The Seattle Mariners have promoted left-handed pitcher Brandyn Garcia from Triple-A Tacoma, marking his Major League debut and making him the first Westfield Starfires alumnus to reach the majors. Garcia, Seattle's 11th-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, is now recognized as the organization's top left-handed pitching prospect by MLB Pipeline.
