Merck Forest & Farmland Center and Mettawee Community School will hold a public ribbon-cutting on Nov. 7 for a new universal-access boardwalk funded by a $365,680 VOREC grant to expand outdoor learning and improve access to nearby forests and fields. The 11th annual Black Tie Bingo on Nov. 1 at the Infinity Convention Centre sold out, featured a World Series screening, and raised funds for Bruyère Health.
