Oklahoma State Honors 2015 Sugar Bowl Team at Reunion

Oklahoma State University will honor its celebrated 2015 football team during the 2025 Cowboy Football Reunion on the weekend of October 11, coinciding with their home game against Houston. The 2015 Cowboys, under head coach Mike Gundy, achieved a remarkable 10-0 start, rising from unranked to No. 4 in the AP and Coaches polls, and secured a Sugar Bowl appearance for the first time since 1945. Key highlights from that season include a dominant 49-29 victory over No. 5 TCU, a 30-27 win at Texas, and a record-setting 70-53 win against Texas Tech, with the team excelling in multiple statistical categories such as turnover margin, sacks, passing offense, and fourth-down conversion rate. The team featured a notable quarterback tandem of Mason Rudolph and J.W. Walsh, as well as defensive star Emmanuel Ogbah, the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, who led a defense that contributed to several NFL draftees from the roster. Despite injuries and a difficult end to the season with losses in the final three games, the 2015 team left a lasting legacy with several records and high rankings in program history, providing inspiration for the current OSU squad.
