Crossed Movie Cast Announced for Garth Ennis Adaptation

The post-apocalyptic horror film adaptation of Garth Ennis' comic book series Crossed has announced its ensemble cast, with Devin Druid and Ash Santos starring as Stan and Cindy, leaders of a group of survivors navigating a world ravaged by a pandemic that turns infected individuals into homicidal maniacs marked by a red cross on their faces. The film, produced by Six Studios and directed by Rob Jabbaz, is based on the first ten issues of the original comic series published between 2008 and 2010, with Ennis himself writing the screenplay. Notable cast members include Owen Harn as Horsecock, the leader of the infected Crossed, alongside Fedor Steer and Kelvin Adekunle as other infected antagonists, and a supporting group of survivors played by actors such as Kyla Hee, Chido Nwokocha, Bob Morley, and Ana Mulvoy-Ten. The story depicts a brutal world where infected humans retain their intellect but are driven to violent impulses, distinguishing it from traditional zombie narratives. The project has completed principal photography in Los Angeles and is currently in post-production. Producer Carl Choi expressed excitement about bringing the cult horror comic to life, emphasizing the film's appeal to fans and the experienced creative team involved in the production.
