Weekend Multiple Road Closures Affect Phoenix, Inverkip, Belton Traffic

The Arizona Department of Transportation has announced weekend closures on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and 31st Avenue near Loop 101 for road widening and bridge work projects. Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed in both directions at Loop 101 from the evening of July 25 to the morning of July 28, with detours via Loop 101 frontage roads recommended. Similarly, 31st Avenue will be closed near Loop 101 during the same period, along with frontage road closures between 27th and 35th avenues, with drivers advised to use 27th or 35th avenues to Yorkshire Drive or Deer Valley Road as detours. Meanwhile, in Inverkip village, Scotland, the east (Kip Park) junction will be closed from August 4 to 18 for the installation of traffic signals, islands, and drainage as part of the A78 City Deal project, with temporary bus stops and altered bus services implemented to minimize disruption during the summer holiday period. All access to and from the A78 during this closure will be through the Main Street west junction, and parking restrictions will be enforced to improve traffic flow. Both projects are scheduled during quieter periods to reduce impact on drivers and residents.
