Global Airlines Launches Maiden A380 Glasgow New York Flight

Global Airlines launched its inaugural Airbus A380 flight from Glasgow to New York, marking a new chapter in transatlantic travel with a focus on luxury and passenger comfort. The airline, founded by James Asquith, operates a three-class layout with 506 seats, including 8 first class, 70 business, and 428 economy seats branded as 'Global Traveller,' which notably offers champagne and includes baggage—perks rare for economy class on a new airline. Despite higher prices starting at £778 for economy, significantly above competitors like Virgin Atlantic, the airline has seen strong demand, with many premium seats already sold for the maiden flight.
